Davy Jone's Locker
The monsters in this dungeon keep regenerating. There is no where safe to take a break. This dungeon is basically hide seek. The idea is to find the colored keys and open the doors that have the same color as the last key found. Once the last key (yellow) is found, open the yellow doors until you find where Davy Jones is hiding. His room contains a number of lanterns that you have to shoot to turn on. Once the lanterns are on Davy can be hurt. Everyone should find a lantern and shoot it, once everyone shoots their lanterns then move in on Davy. Be careful, when the lanterns go out they emit paralyzing shots. Davy will typically attack the closest paralyzed player.
Note: The lanterns will only stay on for a short while then will start turning off. Don't be lazy, once all the lanterns are on, there is a short delay (about 1 second) before Davy becomes vulnerable.
Pot Drops - ATT, WIS
Item Drops - Spirit Dagger, Spectral Cloth Armor, Captain's Ring, Ghostly Prism, Wine Cellar Incantation, Treasure
Level 15 to level 20 - no stats potted
The monsters hit pretty hard so its best to stay in groups of people as they travel the halls looking for doors. Once you get to Davy you will have better luck if you stay close to the door. But, that means you are not really helping to light the lanterns. Its ok for lower level and unpotted classes in my opinion to do this. Its dangerous further inside the room. It can be very dangerous at the door way from attacks coming at you from the hall and from Davy and the boys inside the room.
Level 20 - at least DEF potted
Move into the room find a lantern or two, turn them on and move into attack range of Davy. Be prepared to move back when the lanterns send out the paralyze. Repeat. If you are solo or close to it you will have to activate the lanterns and then move in be careful and don't get paralyzed as Davy has enough mojo to take out a maxed player.
Notes on Classes:
Classes with piercing weapons - This allows you to turn on more than one lantern at a time. I usually fire through a lantern at Davy to get my soulbound on him faster.
Rogue - Monsters in the room don't see you so you can activate the lanterns in relative safety. Before the last lantern is activated make sure you are not cloaked. Don't cloak until you start shooting Davy. This will keep you safe (generally, maybe, sort of, perhaps) even if you are paralyzed because Davy won't see you.
Sorcerer - Fire your ability at a lantern and you can hit most of them depending on how many monsters are in the room. A few shots at lanterns in either direction and you can turn most if not all on.
Mystic - Can fire at Davy from out side the lanterns. Can stasis the monsters that close in on you when in Davy's room. His curse can help kill Davy quickly.
